TRANSFORMATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR
TRANSFORMATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR
How do we practically follow God’s word to “love your neighbour”? How do we reach out to those in our neighbourhoods, let alone disciple an entire nation? How do we avoid falling into the trap of empty programs?
Come to the Transformational Development Seminar to find out!
This seminar will look at God’s heart for the vulnerable and how we can respond in a strategic way to restore relationships that bring about transformation. We will also explore the Church’s role in the process of community transformation, and give practical tools for how to extend biblical compassion in their communities.
Come hear what others are doing, what Scripture says about these questions, and discover a deeper part of God’s heart for His people!
This seminar is registered with the University of the Nations (YWAM) for credit.
Jewel Anita Hendrix has been involved in missions since 1987, serving 18 years in Guatemala. She has worked with significant pioneers of transformational development approaches to communities in poverty, and through her training and traveling, Jewel Anita has gained an appreciation for how God reveals His character in the diversity of different cultures.
Missions, justice and prayer are the 3 strands that God has placed in her heart to partner with Him in establishing His Kingdom in all the earth through restoring relationships, aligning our lives with Truth, and bringing transformation through God’s Word to all spheres of society.
